Allandale - Location
The Allandale neighborhood can be found north of Koenig Lane, east of Mopac, west of Burnet Road and south of Anderson Lane. Shoal Creek is the main road through this beautiful tree-shaded neighborhood. As you drive, bike or walk down Shoal Creek you'll notice the bike lanes and there are always people out walking or biking. The community has a very active neighborhood association which gets involved in local politics.

Development in Allandale began in the early 1950's at the southern end, so if you're looking for mid-century modern architecture this may be a good place for you to start. The north end of Allandale was completed in the early 1970's, but you will see the occasional tear-down being rebuilt and lots of remodeling as you walk the neighborhood streets.
