The average sized home in Highland Hills is approximately 2,500 square feet, and has three bedrooms and two full baths. Development of this neighborhood began in the mid 1950's so you'll find plenty of classic mid-century-modern homes. It carried on through the late 1970's. There has been some brand new construction as well on the site of former 1950's and 1960's homes. Live Oaks seem to thrive in this area and you even see an occasional Magnolia.
